Add knowledge to your library
Add web, file, or text sources to the Knowledge Base and check their processing state.

Add a source
Open the Knowledge Base. The page provides four actions:
- Create Folder organizes sources.
- Add URL adds a web address.
- Add Files uploads documents.
- Create Text saves text that you enter directly.
Choose a Parent folder when you want the new source stored inside an existing folder. The storage indicator on the page shows the workspace usage and quota reported by the API.
Upload files
The file dialog accepts PDF, EPUB, HTML, TXT, and DOCX files. Each file can be up to 21 MB, and one selection can contain up to five files. Threetone reports success or failure for each file, so one failed upload does not hide the result for the others.
Check processing
After adding a source, check its row in the library. A source can show Indexing…, RAG indexed, or RAG indexing failed. Treat a failed index as unavailable for RAG until it is processed successfully.
Adding a source to the library does not by itself connect it to every agent. You choose which sources an agent uses from that agent's knowledge settings.
