Recover unsaved agent changes

Restore a browser-saved working copy and protect edits when reload recovery is unavailable.

Updated

Reopen the same editing context

Open the same agent and branch while signed in to the same user and workspace in the same browser profile. The editor loads the browser working copy and compares it with the current published version.

Browser working copies are local to that browser profile. They are not available on another device or in another profile, and signing out clears them.

Protect edits when recovery fails

If you see Changes remain available in this tab, but reload recovery is unavailable, keep the tab open. Copy any long instructions or other important values to a safe temporary file before refreshing, closing the tab, clearing site data, or signing out. The current tab still has the edits, but a reload may not restore them.

Check that the browser allows site storage for Threetone and that storage is available. Once recovery works again, review and publish the changes or deliberately discard them.

Resolve a newer published version

If the editor reports that a newer published version is available, publishing the older working copy is blocked. Review the pending changes, preserve what you need, reset to the latest published version, and reapply the intended edits before publishing.
